These Official Rules apply to the Amika Means Friend Tour Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) to be conducted between 08.04.2026, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time and ending August 24, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. eastern time (the “Entry Period”). These Official Rules and other details of these Sweepstakes are all available at Amika’s website at loveamikapro.com/sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes Homepage”).
(A) General Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States, excluding the Territories of the United States, who (i) are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in your state of residence, whichever is older) and (ii) licensed cosmetologists, professional stylists, or cosmetology school students at the time of entry (“Entrant”). Employees of Amika, LLC (“Amika”) or its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, attorneys, successors and assigns, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Sweepstakes Entities”), and the immediate family members or individuals living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win any Prize. For purposes of these eligibility rules, “immediate family members” means spouse, children, parents, parents of spouse, siblings, and spouse’s siblings. By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and the decisions of Amika, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
(B) Additional Eligibility Requirements. Prior to being eligible to receive any Prize in the Sweepstakes, an Entrant who has been selected as a conditional winner of the Sweepstakes must provide Amika with any information or certifications needed by Amika in Amika’s sole judgment. Without limiting the foregoing, a person who has been selected as the conditional winner of any Prize may be required to sign a copy of these Official Rules, sign a Liability Release, and complete and sign a Declaration of Compliance and any other document Amika determines is required, necessary or appropriate, in its sole judgment, to confirm the winner’s eligibility and for tax reporting purposes, including without limitation the winner’s Social Security Number or taxpayer identification number. All of the foregoing, if requested by Amika, must be provided by each conditional winner within ten (10) days of being notified that he or she is a potential winner. Being eligible to participate in any of the Sweepstakes or receive a Prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Entrant (“you”) agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet all Eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Amika as final and binding as it relates to the conduct of the Sweepstakes.
You must complete the following steps to enter the Sweepstakes: (a) you must enroll as a Member of The Amika Pro Community Platform, unless you have already done so, at https://community.loveamikapro.com (the “Platform”); (b) sign into the Platform and comment on the Official Sweepstakes Post with the following (i) tag one Amika Pro Community Member (ii) tell us how the tagged Member inspires you; and (iii) post a photo of your recent hair-styling or professional work that you are proud of. There is no monetary cost to you to complete any of these steps. All of these steps must be completed before the end of the Entry Period, and completion of all of these steps results in one (1) Entry to the Sweepstakes.
Each person may enter the Sweepstakes only one time. All entries become the property of Amika and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant Amika the non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable rights to validate and verify the entry. Entries must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted.

Two (2) Prizes will be awarded, one (1) to each of the two (2) winners. Each Prize will consist of:
Total estimated retail value of each Prize is $2,500. The odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period; two (2) Prizes will be awarded.
No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Amika’s discretion. The Prize is nontransferable. However, Amika reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason, subject to applicable law. All taxes and other expenses, costs, or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of a Prize are the sole responsibility of each winner of the Prize.
Transportation and Hotel Package. The Transportation and Hotel Package will consist of the following:
All travel must take place between October 22–28, 2026.
If Amika Chooses Air Travel, the winner and one person selected by the winner (the “Guest”) will receive a roundtrip air flight with a commercial airline service, coach-class, between a major airport near the winner’s home (the “Departure Airport”) and Boston Logan International Airport (“Logan”). The Departure Airport will be determined by Amika in its sole discretion. Winner and winner’s Guest are responsible for all other travel arrangements and costs, including to and from the Departure Airport, from and to Logan and the Hotel, and to and from the Hotel and the Event. If Amika chooses air travel, the winner will be provided access to Ramp.com, the third party expense management service used by Amika so that the winner may schedule the flights, subject to the foregoing conditions.
If Amika Chooses Ground Travel, the winner and the winner’s Guest will be provided ground transportation to and from the winner’s home and the Hotel, and to and from the Hotel to the Event.
The conditional winners of the Sweepstakes will be selected by a random drawing from among all eligible entries to the Sweepstakes, which will be conducted on or around September 1, 2026. Each person whose name is selected in the drawing will be notified by Direct Message within five (5) days of the Sweepstakes drawing, using the information provided by such person when entering the Sweepstakes. Amika shall have no liability for any person’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings, or if such person provided Amika incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If any person whose name is selected in the Sweepstakes drawing cannot be contacted, fails to claim the Prize within ten (10) days from the time award notification was sent, or does not satisfy the conditions described in the “Eligibility” section above, then that person will be ineligible to receive a Prize and an alternate winner will be selected by means of a random drawing from among all eligible Sweepstakes entries. If it becomes necessary to select alternate potential winners as described above, Amika will do so only three (3) times. If no person selected as a potential winner satisfies all Eligibility requirements or accepts the Prize after these three (3) additional attempts, Amika may not award the Prize to any person.
Receipt by each winner of the Prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY ENTRANT (A DETERMINED BY SPONSOR IN IT SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH ENTRANT’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility by Amika, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. No person whose name is drawn in the drawing will be an actual “winner” and eligible to receive a Prize unless and until that person’s eligibility has been verified.
Amika reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in the event of virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Amika’s control, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Amika may select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Amika. Amika reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Official Rules. Amika has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void Sweepstakes entries for any legal reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by these Official Rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Amika reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees for the Entrant and for the Entrant’s heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and to interpretation of these rules by Amika; (b) to release and hold harmless Amika and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such Entrant’s participation in any of the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a Prize or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto); and (c) to indemnify Released Parties from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an Entrant's entry into a Sweepstakes is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Entrant’s sole remedy is another entry into the Sweepstakes, if possible. No more than the stated number of Prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of Prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Amika reserves the right to award only the stated number of Prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of New York, without regard to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, each participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Kings County, New York having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Each participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
